Philip Kaustinen

I joined the investment team at Vaaka Partners in the fall of 2019. Before that I worked as an investment banker in the Healthcare team at J.P. Morgan in London, where I was involved in a number of M&A and capital markets transactions for the bank’s international healthcare clients. Before my spell at JPM, I graduated with an M.Sc. in finance from Hanken School of Economics. During my studies I also worked as an intern at Vaaka Partners.

I’m currently working together with Medbase, Tietokeskus and Framery. Although they function in very different sectors, they share similar traits such as a clear drive for growth and expansion, which makes interacting with them incredibly rewarding also on a personal level.

I’m excited to support the development of our portfolio companies and find new crown jewels to add to the collection.
