Philip Kaustinen

I joined the investment team at Vaaka Partners in the fall of 2019. Before that I worked as an investment banker in the Healthcare team at J.P. Morgan in London, where I was involved in a number of M&A and capital markets transactions for the bank’s international healthcare clients. Before my spell at JPM, I graduated with an M.Sc. in finance from Hanken School of Economics. During my studies I also worked as an intern at Vaaka Partners.

I have been involved in the growth journeys of Fysios, Molok, Medbase and Tietokeskus, and at the moment I’m working Framery. Although they function in very different sectors, they share similar traits such as a clear drive for growth and expansion, which makes interacting with them incredibly rewarding also on a personal level.

I’m excited to support the development of our portfolio companies and find new crown jewels to add to the collection.
